Backlog February 2009. Unclear yellow golden body under a fading white head. Aroma is quite much honey with a floral touch. Taste is sweet and bitter with honey and flowers. I’s a bit strange as it starts sweet and feels dry at the end. Interesting take on the sasion but not a big fan.

Great stuff, nice toasted malts, wheat, expressive yeast character, a little earth, candied sugar,l brown bread. Nicely balanced, nips of dried fruits, lingering yeast, toasted brown bread. Highly recommended.

Nearly completely opaque black with porous tan head. Coffee, cola, coffee on the nose. Quite dry taste. Dark malts, liquorice, high carbonation. Bitter coffee aftertaste. I brewed one close to this once and was disappointed... Not very pleasant.

Can@ home. Unclear golden body under a huge, foamy white head. Aroma has malt, Belgium yeast, spicy and a bit floral. Taste is balanced sweet malt, biscuit, slightly fruity bur more in the direction of grassy/herbal/floral hops. Nice bitterness. Balanced body with a bitter aftertaste. Refreshing.

Great full-bodied saison. Rich and expressive yeast. Wheat bread, nips of biscuits, sourdough, honeycomb, pale bread, mellow grassy bitterness, fresh grain, straw. Lively, massaging carb. Pleasant finish. Highly drinkable.

Yeah that’s good. Packaged in the modern almighty can but it’s just that good old Belgian saison, a la Dupont. Nice yeast expression, moderate sweetness, sturdy grassy bitterness, a little boozy kick, wheat accents, biscuits, lemon peel, bitter straw. Nice balance. Super drinkable.

Golden orange with a firm off-white head. Candied dried fruits, bright spice, yeast, earthy, bright citrus. Medium bodied. Finish has some spice and black pepper. Very beautiful beer.

Hard to fault it for the style. Lovely Belgian yeast expression,
toasted wheat flakes, nips of candied sugar, a hint of toffee, booze. Massaging carb. Punchy in its way but seriously and dangerously drinkable. A little grassy bitterness in the finish.
