Row 34 draught, 3/11/23. Clear dark mahogany. Light tan head to ring. Fudgey chocolate, light caramel, mild roast, some vanilla. Easygoing, clean. Very soft and mild, very light bitterness, herbal hops mostly. Almost no roast. Bits of chocolate character and caramel. Dry, clean, very drinkable.

Armsby draught, 3/3/23. Clear brass. Big, white head. Warm honey and Brett with herbal spices? What is this?? Super funky, herbal and with a hint of curry? Whatever, smells great. Brett is minimal. Brett, spice, meaty hops and interesting pepper and fruit from Sacch. Soft, lighter bodied but still malty and light juice, gummy bears and spice in the finish. Very interesting and unique, if maybe a touch on the sweeter and gummy bearier side.

Row 34 draught, 11/23/22. Clear, brassy-bronze-golden with a small, immediately-fizzling, off-white head. Nose is lovely, well-lagered brett with no edge to it and soft, gentle, funky fruitiness. Peaches are tastefully done and don't crowd in with acidity or sugar while malts add soft bread/biscuit in support. No alcohol or flaw noted. Soft, juicy, malty and well-attenuated with gentle but well-done peach character and good brett fruitiness/tartness. Chewy biscuit and light honey with lingering tart acids and big, rich malt and yeast flavors.

Canned 7/11/22, drunk 10/2/22. Lightly cloudy, pale gold. Medium, white head. Light gin botanicals are not astringent or overbearing. Soft wheat, hints of cracker and honey with a bit of fruity and herbal hops. Wheaty as all hell with a nice, deep texture and good attenuation. Restrained adjuncts and low bitterness from the hops. Moderately fruity and just drinkable and clean as all hell.

Row34 draught, 8/6/22. Clear, burnished brass. Large, thick, well-retained, white head. Peachy fruitiness from hops with round, honey and baguette from the grain. Clean. Very very malty with honey leading to moderate sourdough. Herbal hop flavors and bitterness with moderate attenuation and lingering pepper, honey and apricot jam. It's very, very intensely malty (read: too sweet for me). Hard to believe it should be this sweet, but I don't know anything about non-pils Czech beers, so who knows. On an objective level, it's too sweet, though it's clean and very very flavorful.

Can at home. Dark pour and decent head. Nose is roasty and chocolate. Tastes of soft chocolate, minerals, bread crust, some chalk. Whatever that Kent Falls aftertaste is.

500mL bottled March 2021, drunk 5/27/22. Chill-hazed, peachy-brass. Ring of white bubbles. Wow very aromatic herbal nose is dense, soft mineral-rich sumac. Almost like vanilla-mint in its nature. Or actually, rooibos tea is more appropriate. Whatever the case, it's pretty incredible that it's still this expressive after 15 months. Almost a bite too dominant. No alcohol or flaw. Light lemony acidity from sumac and lactic character. Soft again in the mouth, chewy, and well-attenuated with spearmint, lemon, earth, mineral, spicy and vegetal rhubarb. What a wild ride this one is. Lingering acidity but never sharp or overwhelming. Ultra-soft texture. No flaw or alcohol. Pretty insane how much adjunct character still comes through after this long. This would have been brutally over-adjuncted when fresh.

500mL bottled December 2020, drunk 5/19/22. Beeswax-marigold. Lightly hazy, fizzy white head. What a nose! Soft, delightful, rich barnyard funk for days. Light lemon, big, easygoing Brett and tons upon tons of rustic grains adding all sorts of fresh baked sourdough, biscuit and such. Clean, no alcohol, low acidity, but great balance with tons of mineral and mild sulfur and other various funk. Very flavorful for its size with lemon, big bursts of lactic acid and a bit of metallic yeast (thing is 2.5 years old so some autolysis and other actual yeast flavor is normal). Solid malt texture, good attenuation, good depth, light sweetness. Bigger and richer flavor than expected for its size. A lot going on here. White grape, strong mineral, yogurt, stronger lactic acidity with warming.

Draught at Armsby, 4/22/22. Dark ebony with some mahogany highlights on the edges. Undetermined clarity. Dark beige/light tan head is small, but shows moderate retention. Big chocolate (dark) in the nose with coffee-like acidity, hints of molasses, vanilla and fudge. Smells sweet, but pretty acidity helps balance pretty well. No alcohol or flaw. In the mouth it's bittersweet cocoa with big bursts of molasses and vanilla along the way. Coffee is fresh/authentic/well-done here. Lots of fudginess definitely pushes things towards sweet, and it's a sticky, borderline syrupy texture, but the bittersweet chocolate definitely goes a long way to balance on the finish.
