As of August 15, 2022 under new management! Temporarily brewed in Bury, Manchester.
Weird Beard Brew Co. consists of a small team of people, wildly passionate about beer.
We make what we love and we love what we make, brewing all types of beers from hoppy session IPAs to bold imperial stouts and we're partial to experimenting within and around styles. We won't hold back! Because we can brew what we want, when we want, we make sure that we're putting out beers we are proud of.

12th August 2013CP&K. Keg. Light haze on this deep amber beer. Tidy off white head. Palate is slightly soft but has fine minerally carbonation. Sweet malt but thin. A little wood and sweet vanilla. Light spice. Touch of sweet bubblegum ester. Tangy and fruity bourbon, mellow. Finishes semi dry. Not much Chinook here, perhaps some dry hopping would have brought back the hop character. Nontheless a tasty number and I enjoyed my half pint.

12th August 2013CP&K. Cask. Citra & Pacific Gem version. Hazy deep amber beer, littlw white head. Palate is soft and slightl6 viscous. Sweetish malt with spicy hops. Sweetish generic citrus and a touch of floralness. Whisper of wood! Light dry finish with a good spicy hop linger and a parting gift of tropical fruits. There is a good beer in here somewhere but I think the cask conditioning is concealing it. Look forward to trying this on keg.

12th August 2013CP&K. Cask. Fairly hazy amber beer, little white head. Palate is light and a little soft, semi dry. Thin malt, mildly sweet. Okay hops. Orange with a touch of grapefruit. Whisper of pine. Finishes dry and mildly bitter. Struggling to pick out any coffee here. Someone else bought one a bit later and it was the same except perhaps a touch of coffee oj the nose.

12th August 2013CP&K. Cask. Very hazy amber beer with a big pale cream coloured head. Palate is softish with fine carbonation. Sweet mat, typically tripel. Whisper of spice and a very light touch of candy fruits. Finishes semi dry with quite a strong spicy linger. Not bad but it’s mising that signature banana ester touch.

Bottle at home in Barbados, 20th August 2013. This is the best I have had from WB, good aroma, nice palate and full of flavour, Belgian yeast comes through nicely. Very refreshing, nice one

Bottle at home. Pours hazy pale amber with a thin white head. Big pineapple and mango nose, more on the taste. Not much malt, perhaps a hint of hay, but a residual sweetness that balances the bitterness well. Good carbonation, slightly thin finish. Nice APA.

Keg tap at EBF XV, 09/08/13. Hazed mid golden with a good sized off white head. Nose is bitter orange, light pine, hint of piss, burnt caramel, grapefruit, hops. Taste comprises light spice, vanilla essence, bitter grapefruit, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, smooth drinking with hop bitterness in the finish. Ok but a little unbalanced, came across as a saison/IPA hybrid crossover type of thang!

500ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with huge, frothy, fairy lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, resinous hop aroma, some orange. Taste is dry, minimally biting bitter hoppy, hints of pine, fruity notes of grapefruit and mango; prickling carbonation. Light body, but full of taste thanks to the excellent hopping. Good.
