Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras drunk on the train to Ashford. Very hazy gold amber colour. Very decent intense hoppy Belgian ale. Pretty damn good. True to the style but with a hoppy kick. Very hoppy actually. No Belgian tripel would be this hoppy. Fun though. Exciting beer.

Drafthouse Tower Bridge. Keg. Light haze on this golden, amber beer. Little pale cream coloured head. Palate starts softish but turns to good minerally carbonation. Good hops. A little fresh orange. Orange peel. Grassy hop skunk. Floral yeast, slightly bitter. Mellow tropical fruits and a little malt cream. Finishes with seltzer minerals and a mild bitterness. Tasty and interesting.

500ml bottle shared at home. Another murky pour, big bubbles. Virtually indistinguishable from Hit the Lights. Perhaps a bit more orangey. Not that impressed.

50cl bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - cloudy amber orange with a decent head. Nose - sweet floral nose. Taste - toffee and spiced biscuits. Palate - medium bodied with a biscuity texture and a decent. Overall - not what it said on the tin. But good enough.

Bottle at Dean’s Birthday tasting, August 2013. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter with lots of malty, grassy nettle hops on the super smooth palate. A super beer.

500ml bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Murky pour again, although not as lively as the previous beer of theirs we tried. Very subtle nose, light spice, no citrus or pine as expected. Basically, another bitter. Hides the strength, in that it tastes like many other, weaker beers. Not bad, but atypical.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. As he notes, batch 13. Does this mean Weird Beard will have as many beers as Kernel in future? One thing they need to sort is their bottle-conditioning, as this was a near-gusher, and I struggled to pour the one bottle into two big glasses. Resulted in a murky looking pale beer. Aromas were mango, grapefruit, a bit soapy and no malt edge. Very dry.

50cl bottle from allmyvinyl. This was batch 13 actually which means it’s Summit/Mosaic/Citra. Appearance - very lively with a massive head. Golden underneath it with a slight haze. Nose - soft tinned mango with a soapy edge. Taste - dry and yeasty and lacking the mango fruit. Palate - quite a lot to it but less balanced. Overall - didn’t work for me.
