Weird Beard Brew Co. consists of a small team of people, wildly passionate about beer.

We make what we love and we love what we make, brewing all types of beers from hoppy session IPAs to bold imperial stouts and we're partial to experimenting within and around styles. We won't hold back! Because we can brew what we want, when we want, we make sure that we're putting out beers we are proud of.

Tap@Brewskival 2018, Helsingborg - fuzzy golden coloured pour with a white head. Light tart fruity with some notes of lemon, grapefruit, light tangy and funky, malty, medium to light body, tart fruity close.

8 3 7 3 15Draft at Foeders, Amsterdam. Clear amber with a thick off white head. Aroma of coffee, caramel, toffee and sweet malt. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.

Tap. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is melon, gooseberries, very thin malt body in the nose. Taste is tropical fruits, grainy, a bit cheesy hops. Mineraly, almost chalky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Ok!

Tap at Before 9. Cloudy orange-amber with a lacy head. Resiny pine, sorachi-style butter and cheese, oak, lemon, vanilla. Creamy Sorachi flavor is a bit cheesy and buttery, plus there is a lot of resins too. A weird one, not my favorite.

07/09/2018 on the train home, 33 cl bottle from Malt Attacks. Dark brown, small head. At first nothing much in the nose and taste, thin dark malts, watery, me thinking "whatever, it's a second running, could've expected it, OK, I gave it a chance". Later the aroma develops to chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, fruity hops. Taste develops to dark malts, bit coffee, milk chocolate, nice fruity hops giving it a black IPA feel. This is truly amazing for this ABV. Considering it as a beer, you could still say it has a watery feel, but it's getting better and better while drinking it. As it still tastes that nice after a few other nice beers and considering it as a low alcohol beer, I would give it all he points I could but I guess I'll wait for a beer of this style at an even lower alcohol level for that. Anyway, brilliant stuff! More of that.

Draft: Poured a hazy to golden with carbonated white head. Aroma was tart fruit. Taste was bitter tangy very sour and tart all the way through to the finish.

On tap at Protokoll, Berlin on 7th September 2018. Thickly hazy amber with off-white ring-and-film giving scant lacing. Fine citrus aroma. Exquisite blend of smoke and citrus in-mouth, and a similar finish that is disappointingly short. Zingy mouthfeel and a medium body.

Bottle, many thanks chriso! Slightly unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is light ham, vegetal, grains. Taste is ham, grains, earthy hops. Silky mouthfeel with high carbonation. Not great. 6-3-6-3-10 - after swirling out the carbonation, it opens up and I like this much better. Hardly anything vegetal there anymore, just plain ham goodness! 7-3-7-3-14

Bottle at Craft Islington share - thanks to Mr Tipple. It pours lightly hazy dirty blonde with a small white cap. The aroma is soft, sweet, oily, brioche, cakey malts, orange fruits, fanta and dull smoke. The taste is oily, juicy, tangy, apricot, peach, nectarine, brioche, orangina, fanta, toasted nut, wood and light smoke. Medium body and fine carbonation. Quite an unusual combination of flavours. Not sure it quite works, but fun to try.
