330ml bottle [thanks Bernd!]. Cloudy, reddish-brown colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Grassy, slightly fruity, hoppy aroma, minimally toasty, mellow malty background, a touch of cherry, red berries, nougat. Taste is slightly dry, minimally fruity and grassy hoppy, minimally toasty malty, hints of nuts and nougat, red berries. Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice malty basis, rather restricted hop flavours - quite OK.

Mild getreidiger Beginn, der ansonsten seltsam leer ist. Etwas helles Malz, moderate Herbe, der Alkoholgehalt ist nie wirklich ein Thema. Trockener Abgang. Irgendwie unnötig. 8/7/5/5/10/6

Röstmalziger Beginn, cremig, passend trocken, rund. Hohe Süffigkeit, mittelstarke Herbe, wenig aber erkennbar hopfig. Mittellanger Abgang, rund. Gut! 10/9/10/10/9/10

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Hereford Beer House. Pours clear, deep copper-brown with a modest, foamy tan head. Light-medium sweet flavour with nicely toasted brown bread, berry accents, a few leaves, toasted caramel. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more toasted caramel, brown bread. Totally drinkable gear.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before February 2023. Slightly hazy, ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, just slightly fruity aroma of nuts, grains, caramel and traces of raisins. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit fruity taste of caramel, grains, nuts and hints of raisins, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very monotonous for an Eisbock, hardly fruity, very simple for 10.5% abv.
