Canned January 13th, printed clearly on the paper label.

A: Looks pretty black to me, initial abundance of tan foam but that leaves the scene in what seems like the blink of an eye.

S: Toasted oat, roasted malt, sweetish milky notes that remind me of a Milk Stout.

T: Exactly the same for the taste. No surprises either bad or good.

M: Medium bodied, could use a tad more carbonation, imho.

O: A couple of weak points, as I mentioned, but overall, satisfying and

16 ounce can, March 3rd canning.

A: Served at cellar temperature, it pours a hazy yellow gold with oodles of billowy foam.

S: Pine, grapefruit, bit of onion, malty background.

T: Grapefruit, pine, tropical fruit, lesser of the onion than in the smell. Throughoutevery sip, a comfortable malt sweetness.

M: Substantial mouthfeel.

O: A very nice and drinkable DIPA!

Tap at Fools Gold, NY. As "Peppercon". Hazy orange color, small steady head. Overriped fruits, peppery spiceyness in the nose. Medium-bodied. Riped fruityness, mango, a bit wheaty. Light spiceyness in the finish. Ok, but lacks something.
