(bottle) Straw coloured with big frothy head. Aroma of flowery hops and yeast. Dry and spicy start with a well balanced hoppy and non-disturbing alcoholic finish. Really good but also not worldshaking Trappist beer.

Bottled. Cloudy deep orange colour with big foamy head. Leaves lacing. Fruitish aroma with hints of malt and yeast. A bit weird taste, sweet and bitter at the same time and also very spicy. Alcoholic notes can also be found. Sweetish aftertaste. Very nice balance and palate.

Bottle. Mahogony color with a big beige head. Nice rich fruity/malty aroma. Would expect more flavor from the aroma, but there’s malt and apple flavors with some holiday spices. Medium body. Finshes dry. Could use a little more complexity to match the aroma.

Bottle. Hazy amber with a nice white head. Yeasty aroma with a little sweet malt/sugar. Aroma not too strong. Smooth mouthfeel. Warming alcohol presence. Yeast and banana esters - a light sweetness and a bit of orange. It’s nice to have another triple that isn’t cloyingly sweet, but this beer is just wellput together - nothing really stands out.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow colour. Big, semistable head. Alcoholic fruity aroma. Very peppery flavour. Distinct bitterness. Flavour is a lot drier than the aroma suggests.

Bottle, 9.5%. 4 years past BB date. The aroma is a little papery, but also mildly malty. Dark amber colour with small black pieces floating in it. Small creamy white head. The flavour is a good mixture of distinct alcohol notes and a good bitterness. A little spicy sweetness in the finish. Well-rounded and holds up fine after four years.

In 750 mL. Hazy blonde with an extra thick bubbly white head. Yeasty lemony aroma with light orange peels. Sweet alcohol gin, with good sustained hoppiness. Creamy and complex mouthfeel. Pleasing, as I remembered from last drinkng this nectar. Thanks to Dumdum, via Capflu.

A hazy orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma is very spicy with notes of yeast, coriander, and orange peel. The flavor is very sweet and very spicy again with notes of the yeast, coriander, orange peel as well as the alcohol - the end is a little dry and woody. But the alcohol is not as present in the sample I’m rating since it is more than 2 years old as it is in a fresh bottle - I like the more subtle alcohol presence in the aged version best.

Bottle, 7%. Mild aroma of brown sugar. Hazy dark brown colour. Big stable creamy tan head. The flavour is roasted with some barley bitterness and a little brown sugar. Not extreme, on the contrary quite well balanced.

At last! (My personal favourite session beer that I cannot get for any session. This order took me the better part of a year. Unless I go for the order, of course...) Huge, creamy yellowish head, slowly collapsing; pale yellow beer with fading orange and green shades, quite carbonated. Cream, malt, breaddough, fruity, nutty and somewhere mouldy aroma’s. Iron & hopbitterness in the head; flavours of fresh whitebread, aromahops and dried apples (but not sweet). Quite bitter, mixture of hops and walnut peel. Light bodied, first creamy, then mineral water MF. Bit adstringent in the finish. Extreme long bitter aftertaste; refreshing à souhait . Having tasted that many others in between, this reappeared maybe a bit less gloriously than rosy memory painted it. But it is still a rare treat: a light Belgian ale to cherish if found.
