Bottled@Konttori, Tampere. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is lots of juniper, conifer woods and some sap. Flavour is lots of conifer wood, sap, resin and some slight grassyness as well. Really fresh, and kinda strange in many ways. I o like it, but not really sure I would drink that many bottles of it after eachother...

Bottled@Konttori, Tampere. Hazy ambery brown colour with small beige head. Aroma is strawberry, raspberry with some strange sweetness. Also quite much sour wooden notes. Flavour is a lot of raspberry with some rather dry wooden and grassy notes in the aftertaste. Quite sweet’n’sour meets total dryness. Once warm also the yeast gives it’s touch to the beer.

Bottled@Konttori, Tampere. Hazy orange colour, not much head. Aroma is hops, fruits, yeast and some caramel. Flavour is toffee, fruity hops and some mild alcoholic sweetness. Aftertaste is rather peachy along with some alcohol and wood. Quite much a double IPA with some twisted notes. Pleasant and very drinkable.

750 ml. Brewed 12/19/06. Is it the age on the beer or is it just that all these flavors just weren’t meant for each other? Whatever it is, this beer was not a favorite. Black, but not opaque, body with a fizzy tan head that diminishes. The aroma was mostly cardboard with a hint of licorice. The flavor was moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body with a watery texture. Fizzy carbonation. Tastes of anise, mint, wet cardboard and vanilla, but mostly anise. The flavors, even disregarding the wet cardboard, just didn’t gel.

courtesy of frampin. Pours murky orange with white head. Aroma is nicely malty with bready/cookie nose and touch of hops. Taste, lightly hoppy for a nice bitter palate, fruity with touch of apricot/grapefruit/raspberry, nice balance with the malts that give the beer a nice bready mouthfeel as it gains in room temperature. Very enjoyable, at 4.4% this one could pass for slightly;y higher in abv.

(Bottle, 0.75 l, at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-04-04 -- shared with sayravai and isos, thanks!) Hazy amber. Medium sized white head. Young spruce needles and fruitiness in aroma. Medium bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Young spruce needles, bitterness, frutiness, lots and lots of hops and citricness in taste. Young spruce needles and bitterness in aftertaste. Impressive beer, although 0.75 l would be too much for one person alone.
