Cask at Prince Albert, Ely. Golden brown with no head. Clear. Smeels of malt, iced tea, sorrel grass. Sweet taste, more tea, moreish. The slightest bitter chalky burn in the finish. Flat, oily body. Enjoyable enough but a one-pinter only.

Cask @ Abel Heywood, Manchester. Copper with a small glow. Has a berry-sweetness aroma with a dirty dryness to it. A little ordinary in its taste buds palatable enough.

Cask @ Abel Heywood, Manchester. Slightly pale golden in colour with a very small carbonation and a small head. Thereโs some sugary malts in its nose, a few in its taste, but itโs quite a palatable session ale in the main.

Cask at the Admiralty - Trafalgar Square, London. Pours clear russet with a frothy white head. Musty grain in the nose, some grass. Light sweet flavor, gritty, lightly abrasive, with lots of grains, toast and earthy hops. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Grainy and bitter on the finish, a little musty, woody. So so.
