Pour is a amber with a white head. Aroma is caramel malts with some dark fruits. Flavor is medicinal with some plum and citrus. Nothing really stands out and it leaves a sour taste in the mouth. Just so-so good enough for a rating.

Picked up in Sainsburys, Banbury, 01-09-06. Poured a Golden colour and whilst I find it difficult to describe it did have the Wychwood taste, though despite the hoppy presence and reasonable bitterness it was a bit softer than some of their beers and I suppose you could say not too bad an effort.

Bottle. Very dark, black in colour. A brownish creamy lasting head. Dark malty aroma. Flavour of sweet chocolate and sharp roasted malt.

Bottle. Red brown colour with a beige minimal head. Sweet aroma of pear and malt. Flavour is sweet malt with hints of fruit and pear.

Cask Conditioned @ Wychwood Brewery. Dark Red coloured strong bitter with a fluffy white head. Trace fruit in the aroma. Sweet taste with some fruit.

Golden color; nice head. Strange aroma, with vegetables, metallic, red wine. The taste has some malt, some malt crispness and a pretty high bitterness; it has a quite dry mouthfeel and the final is also lightly metallic. Nothing special.
