500ml hand imported from Swedish Lapland. Off-white head over a copper red body. Dark malty aroma. Taste of roasted malt and dark chocolate that tend to be a bit diluted. Slightly bitter finish. Alright.

Cool looking 500ml bottle and label as always from Wychwood. Amber colour. Thick white creamy head, most of it disappearing. Inviting hoppy aroma. Good flavour of hoppy bitterness with a fruity touch. And still more bitterness in a lasting finish. Like it!

Bottle 0,5l. 4,7%. Brown colour. A small white head. Not much aroma, but a caramellish, fruity flavour. A sourish bitter aftertaste with some sweetness.

500ml bottle from Eurotunnel Terminal Building France. Lots of the previous raters have got most of the elements of this beer. Yes it is very malty, yes it does have a strong hop presence. But I have spent the day drinking live cask and bottled conditioned beer. At the heart of it is a candy sugar dead tasting beer and no amount of malt or hop can make up for that. British brewers, please bottle condition your beers. Please, pretty please. I want to enjoy your beer as it should be, not this fake. Trust us. Malt and hop are good though

Cask at The Royal Crown, Witney 10th July 2006 (think it was the Crown it was a Wychwood pub anyway)Should be called Summer Blandness very unimpressive, poured light golden colour not much body, some hops and malts detected served a touch warm which is a bit suprising in one of its own pubs, nothing else of note to say really not bad just bland.

Bottle picked up from the brewery with a range of other beers in a mixed case pack. Pours an orangey colour, some hops a little bit fruity but has that distinctive Wychwood taste that makes many of theirs a bit of a one size fits all.
