(Cask at Pineapple, London) A pleasant porter. Beer wasn’t exactly black but very close to it. Nice aroma of coffee and chocolate with some burntness. I found coffee and chocolate in the taste, too, and also hops, burntness and bitterness. Balanced and long lasting roasty and bitter finish. Very tasty.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 13/10/10. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Citrus hop and cereal malt aroma. Flavour had more cereals, touch of fruit and decent, bitter finish. Enjoyable.
