Description
We are a micro brewery based in Lockwood, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and we also now have our own TapHouse, The Corner in Huddersfield's Market Walk
We brew high quality cask conditioned real ales, bottle conditioned beers and limited quantities of Key Keg.
Over the years, we have gained a reputation for producing crisp, clean flavoured hoppy ales. Our speciality is single hopped variety ales. We are regularly trying new hop varieties and blending different hops to create new flavours. We always stock a variety of single hopped beers, as well as semi-regulars and new one-off brews which enable us the explore different hop and malt combinations.

Handpull cask at the King Edward VII, Halesowen. Very light golden and clear with a tight off-white head. Aroma is hay and bread with some unidentifiable fruity notes. Sweet taste, a bit grainy, some citrus but none of that lovely Simcoe flavour. Light body with soft carbonation. Not Mallinson's best. Maybe my expectations were too high.

Beer number 6 at the Wigan Beer Festival 2025. Soft textured gentle tropical fruit brew, but naturally quite hoppy too. Slight candy fruit.

One-third pint. Pearl white head over a clear amber body, spotty lacing. Moderate aromas of herbal hops and earthy malts. Blended taste profile with peaches, ripe citrus, and grainy malts. Discreet bitter end. Clean on the swallow. Quite alright. (Liverpool, 13.02.2025).

1/3 cask pour at GBBF Winter. Clear golden pour with a thin layer of foamy White head. Aroma is hoppy, notes of hop resin and pine with appropriate bitterness. Taste is also the straightforward hop flavors, and an oily resiny feel that accentuates the bitter finish.
