Keg at the Lyric - Soho, London. Pours lightly hazed gold with a creamy, white cap. Grainy pale malts in the nose, some dirty hay. Light to medium sweet flavor with dry pale malts, cereal, lightly tangy and dry lemon, straw. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, further dried grains, pale bread, bitter hay and slight lemon rind. Not bad.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 14/11/2013. Near black with a slight tan head. Sweetish aroma of dark fruits, chocolate and a touch of honey, with some toasted malts in the background. Flavour was similar, with the honey a subtle presence, and the finish dryish. Good.

Cask @ Post Office Vaults. Has a defined toffee malt character with a few custard creams in the mix. Slight bitterness. Not really my thing.

Cask at Lyric SoHo. It pours hazy pale brown with a thick off-white head. The nose is wood, earth, caramel, leather, citrus and light smoke. The taste is earthy, wood, spice, chalky, big bitter kick, leather, some astringency, citrus rind and metal with a very dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. A bit all over the place. Rough around the edges for sure. Odd.
