Cask at EBF Autumn 22. Aroma is coffee - so a bitterness plus berries. Opaque murky dark brown. Frothy off-white head. Very creamy coffee. Instantly followed by a tart berry streak. Malty. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Nice enough but ultimately quite muted Mild.

Keg @ Jack In The Box, Manchester. Clear golden with a creamy head. Has a flavoursome dominant hoppiness at a sessionable strength with a modicum of fruit finding its way through.

Cask at Brewery Tap, Chester. Pours a dark ruby with a small cream head. Malts are very prominent in the nose. They are the mainstay in the mouth as well, being joined by berry fruits and figs, being slightly sweet overall. Finish is (guess what) malty, This is decent enough but a bit lacking in character. Still Boddingtons Mild never was their strong point.
