Cask at Smithfield Tavern, Manchester. Pours clear mid brown with a ruby tinge & a creamy beige cap. Malt, bread, light caramel aroma. Taste: light sweet & light to moderate bitter, dry, creamy, bread, light caramel, hedgerow berry hints. Medium body with tight carbonation. Not bad at all.

Cask @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Black with a creamy off-white head. Has an interesting mix of tropical fruits and dark malts, all at a fairly easy strength.

Keg @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Black with a head. It has fizzed light roasted malts but is not overly flavoursome, however there’s enough here to enjoy.

Cask @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Black with a creamy off-white head. It’s an easy drinking stout, albeit somewhat understated. Smooth, it also has a slightly toasted flavour.
