Cask@GBBF. "Mary Ann Special" Clear amber color, steady creamy beige head. Fudge and diacetyl in the nose. Butterscotchy diacetylic flavor with some grassy hops. Also a bit nutty. (6/3/6/2/11 2.8)
Cask@Lamplighter, St Helier, Jersey
Clear deep amber-copper color, small off-white head. Toffeish, nutty hoppy aroma. Watery palate. Light toffee, nutty-herbal hoppyness, also mild citrusy note in the finish. Maybe for sessiong, otherwise quite a dull brew - nothing Special in it! (6/3/6/2/10 2.7)

Cask@GBBF. Deep golden color, small white head. Diacetylic, musty aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweet malty, grassy hoppy flavor. Aroma was quite odd, but flavor is like in "normal" British golden ale.

A hazy orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of metal. The flavor is sweet and flat with stronger notes of metal than malt. Not my style and even a bad attempt at a European Strong Lager.

Cloudy pale color, no head. Poor aroma, with some herbs. Bad taste, with tobacco. Almost disgusting!

Very pale amber; no head. Nutty, cookies nose. Nothing else. Taste: pure walnut, walnut oil, ending in walnut peel bitterness. Some cookie malt underneath. Finish gives some alcohol. Mineral water-like MF, flat as a pancake. In the aftertaste, the bitterness fades away. Can’t imagine it was much to start with, but age certainly didn’t yield any hidden treasures.
