Cask at the White Hart, Holyport. A slightly hazy pale amber colour with a thick cream head; biscuity malt aroma; biscuity body with a floral taste to start, then a lemony citrus kick; leading to a dry elderflower finish with a pleasant herbal bitterness. Clean and refreshing.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. A pale amber colour with a thin white head; aroma of traditional spicy English hops; rich bittersweet herbal taste, reminding me of the mustard coloured sweet in Old English Spangles; then a pleasant woody bitterness and a long finish. An excellent new hop.

Bottleshare at Chez Smith. Thanks to Cloin. Opaque black brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, slightly sour/overly tangy. Dark fruits. Light dry finish. Bit one dimensional and tangy.

Bottle split at Hackney Levels, 08/06/17, thanks to James F for leaving this one for me. Black pour with a decent tan cap. Nose is dark chocolate orange, bitter notes, spice, charr, light roast. Taste comprises dark fruit note, tarte, sour berry, cocoa infuse, roasted tones, charr, ashen. Medium bodied, spritzy feel ... over carbonated, drying close. Average indeed ... a touch infected this one me thinks ... not sure about Terry but not many folks would have handled this entire bottle to themselves !

Bottle shared in London - cheers, Cloin. Pours black-brown with a foamy beige head. The aroma holds light aged coffee, milk vcocate, moderate toasted malts. Medium sweet flavour with tangy dark berries, lightly astringent roast, earth, cocoa. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Finishes with further dark berry tang, a little scorched earth, bittersweet cocoa. So so.
