Bottle from Megan.
This was poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange/copper color with a sheet of a little white foamy head, just dissipated into oblivion. No lace.
The aroma had some damp grass, herbal qualities, light fruity esters, some floral hop qualities, pillowy caramel malts, some butterscotch, light biscuits and a touch of sweet wood.
The flavor presented that dried sweet malty arrangement of toast to caramel malts with a leather-sweet dryness. No aftertaste. Finish was quick and malty, semi-construed low hop bitterness.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a good sturdy sessionability about it. Low carbonation as it should be. ABV felt mostly as projected.
Overall, another really good Bitter by these guys, almost makes me want to move to the UK just to get the good Bitters.

Thanks Megan!
Bottle to English pint glass, the appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a sly cap of a little white foaminess. Mild lace.
The aroma had some sweet to bitter floral hop portions playing with an earthy to biscuity sweet and spicy malt. Light toast and a little bit of dried driftwood.
The flavor was florally dry sweet flowing through the normal expected biscuity maltiness of the style and guiding on into the finish as expected. Expected but acceptable diacetyl.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a good sessionable quality about it. Low carbonation. ABV felt fairly close.
Overall, pretty good Bitter that I could have again if I could get it.

Cask at Butler, Reading, 19/05/17. Nil aroma. Initially hazy but then settles. Medium chestnut. Decent small bubbled white head. Medium sweet, with light bitterness coming through. Herby. Malty. Tangy. Medium bodied but still somewhat watery. Soft carbonation. Short finish. A decent enough ESB. I liked the herbs in the taste.

Thanks for the bottle, Meghan!
Poured into a mug, the appearance was a black color with foamy finger’s worth of white head. Sly messy lace.
The aroma had a super nice blend of roasted malt, chocolate and clean caramel with coffee beans and grounds rubbing at the end. Black licorice sweetness came out as it warmed.
The flavor blended extremely nice between the roast and the sweet flowing between dark and milk chocolate. Super nice aftertaste richly blending between the sweet and the roast. Same as in the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation was a bit low, but I’m thinking that’s what the brewer intended. ABV felt appropriate, though it made me think twice as if this was \"porter\"-like in it’s smoothness.
Overall, stout or porter, hell if I know, just glad to have sampled a new one to me. Just damn good!

Bottle at home. A very good English bitter and once again it is a complement. A very malty beer with a sweetness that is very well balanced with the bitter hops. A great dark colour and extrmely thirst quenching. I really did like that balance of malt and hops.

2016 - Bottle at home on the hottest day of the year - That was a very nice pale ale in the American style, but with a hint of the English bitterness. Very refreshing and ideal for the weather and after a terrible trip home on the train. A nice mouthfeel, good hops and overall very good. I would happily drink this again.

50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. An attractive golden amber colour with a loose cream head; woody aroma; sweet barley taste with some caramel; and a fresh leafy English hop bitterness giving a slightly drier finish. A well made, traditional, English bitter.
