Bottle on boat at Caversham, 9th September 16. Pours copper coloured, aroma is caramel, malts, toffee. Taste is smooth, caramel, bitter, slight hop. It’s not bad and easy to drink.

Shared 500ml bottle on 20th Aug 2016. Amber bodied, off-white crown. Malts lead the way in both the nose and taste, caramel like sweetness rules the aroma and flavours: my sweet tooth liking the light malty molasses overpowering the hop content.

Shared 500ml bottle on 20th Aug 2016. Thin white heads on the clear golden pours. The nose was floral, grassy and citrusy: malts also appeared in the aroma. The taste was leaning towards maltiness as it warmed in the glasses having initially being more hop driven flavour wise. Nice beer.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours crystal clear yellow, highly effervescent, with a frothy, pure white head. Pleasant pale grains and biscuits in the aroma, with hints of grass. Light to medium sweet flavour with subtly sugary pale bread, mellow bitter hay and grass, faint metallic bite, some cereal and straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced in the finish, with further biscuity sweetness, light grassy bitterness, restrained bready notes, some pale grain. Really good stuff. Super drinkable.
