Bottle. Murky brown with tan head. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, tangerine peel, dead leaves, soft tonka, bitter leafy tea notes. Medium sweet and nice lasting bitter finish. The adjuncts are there but quite subtle. Looks not too good but tastes nice.

Bottle. Hazy golden, white head. Dank hops, orange, coconut, lime, oats, bready malts. Medium sweet and bitter. Good.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 05.2022) im 2021-12 getrunken. Dieses Stout kommt sehr harmonisch und mit Aromen von dunkler Schokolade und leichter Robusta-Kaffee-Säure daher. Von dem Smoke ist nichts zu entdecken, was aber auch nicht schlimm ist. Am Körper ist es für seine 4,5% überraschend kräftig.

This brewery is ten minutes from where I'm staying. Great place! Smoked pale ale, really good but not quite as good as the cherry wood smoked ale I had in NZ.
