Pours pitch black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, brett and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate and fruity finish. Body is medium to full, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, brett, funk, chocolate, licorice and hops.

Bottle 330ml.[ Trade by KyotoLefty ]. Clear dark red brown colour with a huge, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dusty malt, shoe polish, light earthy. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, shoe polish, roasted, sweet malt, dusty malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20131011]

Bottle thanks to Ingo! Sampled on December 21, 2013.Marked 5% ABV and "Spring/summer Edition". Also marked 2013.10.10.Hazy golden color, small white head.Sweet, malty, light acidic, fruity scent. Berry, fruity, tropical fruits, bitter taste. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium low bitterness.

Cask - Caramel malts and some bread. Cloudy gold with no head. Caramel with some nice mild piney hops and a light bitter finish. Real nice American style ale. The best is have had from the brewer.

Draft - Roast malts, bittersweet chocolate and a bit of soy. Jet black with a decent brown head. Burnt malts , coffee and dark chocolate. The burnt malts are a bit off putting for me.

Draft - Sweet dark fruits and a hint of milk chocolate. Cloudy brown orange with no head. Dark fruit, red grape and that chocolate is coming back. Out of place bitterness without balance which just ruins this for me.
