Bottle. Thanks Will. Nice aroma, grassy and bit of citrus. Taste is very herbal, bit fruity, red bull-esque.

Tap at Omohara Beer Forest. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is grapes, fruitiness, bit of sweetness, and slight maltiness. Taste is less grapes up front, more about malt and bitterness. Finish has some muscat and is more smooth. This is pretty nice I think. Decent fruit addition to an ipa. --- Beer merged from original tick of Muscat IPA on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Bottle, can't remember where from. Dark brown/black colour with huge golden bubbly head. Aroma is roasty, chocolate sweetness, bit of vanilla, bit of smoke too. Taste is good, quite spiky, lots of roast again, bit of bitterness, coffee maybe, less sweetness, but the vanilla is still there at the finish. The brown sugar is there too, but not in your face. Less sweet than I thought it would be from the name, but there is a lingering creaminess to it. Pretty nice, and have to say I seem to like most of the Sankt Gallen sweets beers.

Tap at CBM jimbocho. Roasty, creamy, not really porter like, but not a stout either, maybe a creamy brown ale. Lots of sweet malt.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Amber golden colour with big white bubbly head which soon collapses in the middle. Aroma is very fruity, strawberry, lemon, quite sweet but also with a fair bit of hoppy bitterness. Quite malty too. Smells a bit cakey/doughy. Taste is satisfyingly bitter but not overly so. Very fruity, more grapefruity this time. Quite a punch for only 6%. Something herbal in there too. Pretty nice all in all.

Draft at ibrew Ginza. Amber colour, small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is lots of malt, bit of spice and lots of fruit, pineapple, touch tropical lots of citrus grapefruit. Some yeastiness. Taste crisp and bit of prickle. Bit grapefruit and more fruit, and a dose of malt. Nice bitter finish. Solid but not mind-blowing.

Draft at ibrew Ginza. Pale amber/gold colour, small white head. Aroma is pineapple sweets, bit of malt too. Taste pineapple, increasing further down. Quite malty. Bit of yeast. Slight hoppiness. Not bad and quite good on a hot day but not a mind blower. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pineapple Ale on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Tap at Watering Hole. Dark amber colour, small golden head. Not much smell, bit of apple but can't get the cinnamon, quite sweet. Taste is alright, apples again, sweet, very slight spice in the background. Maybe slight mulled wine taste. Pumpkin type body. Nice enough, by maybe past it's best. Rerate 25/10/13 Taste is very brown bread, and tea. Not so much apple. Little cinnamon burn. Alright. Aroma is very grainy. No change in the score.

Tap at the Watering Hole. Rich red colour, no head. Aroma is booze, wood, steeped fruit, slight funk, alcohol. Taste is not bad. Lots of rich fruit, plums, cherry, bit of orange. Bitterness leaves a prickle on the tongue. Not the sweetness I would expect. Nice sharpness to it. Body is quite full on. Thick but not oily. Maybe might be nicer after a bit if ageing, but nice enough as it is.

Tap at the Watering Hole. Clear golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, indistinct touch of fruit. Not massive odour. Taste is pleasantly fruity, but predominately wheat. Quite dry. Touch of tropical fruit in the background. Peach and orange. But main thing is the grain. Slight bitterness at the end. Quite nice, but not much to it. Feels maybe a little too fizzy.
