Sankt Gallen Winter Tart Ale 5% Clear amber gold with a bready lightly spicy aroma. Lovely flaky pie crust flavor with a big dose of spice. I’ve bready Nice toasty malt and spices flavor. 3.6 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by KBL. Cinnamon, nutmeg, apples in the nose. Bready malt flavor, apples, spices, rich and tasty. Quite spritzy high carbonation is a minus, but graham cracker malt is lovely. Can't taste the figs, though. Enjoyable holiday beer.

Exactly what it purports to be. One of the better J breweries, though, so a good one.

On tap pours out crisp clear straw-colored top with a small fizzy head. Nose is sweet pineapple juice a little bit of honey some grass. Taste is more of the nice sweet honey notes a little dry and a touch of earthy grass pops.

This beer proves the futility of IBU. Bitter, in-your-face as fuck, like sucking on a beautiful hop. Fresh, ripe, lovely, goddamn.

Really good! Not too sweet, not too much vanilla.
I'd drink anything from these guys. Even bottled water.

At a tasting, thanks, small off white bubbly head, murky very deep orange color, aroma of brown bread, pale raisins, caramel and hints of toffee and umami, umami flavor with toffee and caramel and a whiff mushrooms, medium sweetness, light noticable bitterness. Nice.

Wow, definitely sweet, but in a way I dig. Well done. Then again, SG beers are always great.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Lior D's place. Thanks Lior D. Hazy amber, off-white head. Malt, caramel, stale hops, some fruitiness, toffee, alcohol, sweet and umami, medium-bodied. Not my thing.

330ml bottle from Dogenzaka Shinanoya. Pours creamy orange with actually quite frothy creamy beige head. Fresh piney, somewhat slick and resiny nose, very fresh and even raw hop character there. Taste has also good fresh intense hoppiness, raw hops for sure, grassy and dank. Bitterness feels somewhat green, still strong and lingers in the finish. Body has some nutty character, kind of like hazelnut cracker packed into herbal and hoppy-bitter outer layer. Tasty.
