Pours a hazy pale gold colour with a small diminishing white head. The aroma is fruity; citrus; and floral with some light malt notes. A light sweet taste, sweet pale malts, lemon and grapefruit flavours with a light citrusy bitterness.

Cask @ The Welly with richthevillan and jmgreenuk. Pours clear shiny gold with a good white head. Floral, fruity nose. Taste brings a rich, aged oaky feel to a floral lemon citrus character, noticeable honeyed hop presence with a brisk bitterness. Fine overall.

Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear light yellow colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, floral hops. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, dry, light oak, floral woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Very pithy. Makes a big statement in some ways but is lacking in others. Nice to taste, but not a beer I would order again.

On gravity at the Volunteer, Bristol 16/4/2023. Almost black in colour and opaque, with a slight, beige, head. Juicy dark berries, some creamy oats, vanilla and a touch of toastiness in the finish. East drinking and good for it.

Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Black with an extremely thin head. Quite strong and robust with its dark malt character, but its fruit manages to make its mark here and the fusion is flavoursome.
