Description
Founded in 2007, Ascot Ales was bought by Chris Davies in 2017. Together with his son, Conor, they rebranded to Ascot Brewing Company and have since launched a secondary, multi-award winning, craft beer brand, Disruption Is Brewing.
In 2020, we built a formidable 8,500 sq. ft Brewery and TapHouse, which boasts a massive mezzanine bar with 20 taps, and hosts all types of events from beer festivals to comedy nights and corporate events to private parties.
We believe beer is the social glue that binds communities together. By brewing remarkable, flavour-bursting beer and offering unrivalled, memorable experiences, we want to push the boundaries of what’s possible when great beer and people unite.
This means we need to be bold, and we need to be big.
In November 2019, we moved to an 8,500 sq. ft warehouse, built a massive 2,500sq. ft, 20 tap taproom, increased our brewing capacity and launched an innovative craft beer brand, Disruption is Brewing. Later they completely abanded the Ascot branding.

Cask at EBF Autumn 22. Aroma is chocolatey with a definite sweet cheesecake streak. Dark brown. Thin creamy tan head. Initial coffee bitterness. Rich chocolate streak. Creamy but otherwise not getting cheesecake. Medium bodied. Oily. Flat carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Lovely chocolatey stuff if not on brand.

Tap at the tap. Aroma of malts and spicy pizza so no idea a out the beer. Although graduslly get caramel sweetness. Just brought upstairs so the light amber body is hazy but would apparently normally be less so. Thin foamy translucent white head. Medium bitter. Sour berry edge. Tart citrus too. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick with a chalky residue. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. I wonder what males this an Ascot tsther that DiB beer? I guess whilst it's hoppy it ultimately feels like a hoppy bitter so presumably that's it. A trad version of a modern style and bland for that.

Gor in just in time. The dregs at EBF Summer 22. Aroma. Is rich and chocolatey with a boozy peat whisky edge? Darkest opaque brown. Thick foamy tan head. Medium bitter. The barrel aging is obvs but smooth. Liquorice and coffee edge. Heavy bodied. Oily. Sticky. Flat carbonation. Long finish. Polite Imperial. Strong but smooth.

Cask at Egham Beer Fest. Aroma is punchy - booze and coconut with a dark chocolate edge. Presumably like one of those cocktails I have at the end of a night on a work do. Murky darkness. Foamy beige head gradually thins out. Initial boozy coffee before the Bounty coconut kicks in. Medium bodied. Oily. Flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Nice enough if the booze takes the lead.
