Description
Founded in 2007, Ascot Ales was bought by Chris Davies in 2017. Together with his son, Conor, they rebranded to Ascot Brewing Company and have since launched a secondary, multi-award winning, craft beer brand, Disruption Is Brewing.

In 2020, we built a formidable 8,500 sq. ft Brewery and TapHouse, which boasts a massive mezzanine bar with 20 taps, and hosts all types of events from beer festivals to comedy nights and corporate events to private parties.

We believe beer is the social glue that binds communities together. By brewing remarkable, flavour-bursting beer and offering unrivalled, memorable experiences, we want to push the boundaries of what’s possible when great beer and people unite.

This means we need to be bold, and we need to be big.

In November 2019, we moved to an 8,500 sq. ft warehouse, built a massive 2,500sq. ft, 20 tap taproom, increased our brewing capacity and launched an innovative craft beer brand, Disruption is Brewing. Later they completely abanded the Ascot branding.

Cask handpull at Southampton Arms. Pale brown with a slight haze. Thin beige head. Some toffee some light citrus fruit hop. The citra is more pronounced on a quite bitter finish. Tasty on the finish. Tasty if under hoped in my opinion. If you are gping to do a single hop beer then at least stick in enough of that single hop so you can taste it. Finish is best thing about it

Cask, gravity at The White Horse, Hedgerley, Bucks 16.04.11 Quite delicious full bodied fruity stout. Black in colour with a beige rim of bubbles. Aroma is the one area that it is lacking as it is non-descipt, I get very, very little at all. But flavour more than makes up for any inadaquacies, its fruity, chocolatey loveliness. Cask handpull at Egham spring festival 2011. Black beer with thick lasting tan head. More obvious than the grand marnier version. More nutty choc liquer on the aroma. Realy nutty but I think I prefered the grand marnier version. Just a little bit of newspaper

Cask at the Old Fountain. Clear, rich gold pour with a foamy, white head. Aroma holds some nice hops, bit of pine and orange. Medium sweet flavor, some honey and bread, floral and juicy bitterness. Light bodied with fine, ideal carbonation. Balanced finish, light bready malts and lingering pine and citrus hops. Very good beer.

From cask at Bree Louise. Pours hazy dark brown with a fully gone head. Aroma is sweet, fruity and caramelish. Sweet caramel flavoured. Fruity. Subdued bitter. Yeasty, acidic and fruity. Yet rather sweet. Phenolic finish.

Very low carbonation, almost flat. Typical grapefruity bitterness but with a watery finish. Nothing much APA here. Dissapointing!
