50cl bottle from Provenance Wines. Appearance - golden amber with steady bubbles and some head. Nose - very much elderflower. Really creamy and it masks any apples. Taste - again elderflower dominates but some sweet apple notes in the latter half. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - best I’ve had from Thistly Cross.

Cask at Tapped Leeds. Basically apple juice, with a light kick. Flat, and sweet. Not my thing.

50cl bottle from Provenance Wines. Appearance - amber with no head. Nose - not getting much apple but really big ethanol note. Taste - more of the same. No fruit but plenty of alcohol. Palate - not much body texture or refreshment. Just alcohol burn. Overall - really disappointed. This is my favourite style of cider but this bares no resemblance to anything I’ve had from the West Country.
