Intense sweet apple aroma. Color is straw, no head. Taste is sweet apples sweetness gets more intentse in the aftertaste and is replaced by intense sourness. Medium carbonation. Overall: there is something missing from this cider, but it still goes down rather well. Alcohol (6,9%) is barely noticable.

500ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Fruity ripened pear nose continuing to a high juice, appleade flavour. Very sweet, almost too much but still had me savouring that taste.

Bottle. Fresh apple, whiskey and oak aroma. Clear gold, no head per usual for cider. Sweet-tart ripe apple and oaky whiskey flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation. I’m a sucker for apples and oak.

Draft at IMBC 2013. It pours clear gold with a small bubbly white head. The nose is juicy apple, white grape, vinous, wood and elderflower. The taste is crisp, bitter-tart apple, white grape skin, vinous, wood and mild acidity with a dry, crisp finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Great balance between sour and sweet. Delicious.

Golden and a bit cloudy in the glass, nice elderflower-note in the nose. The cider starts sweet, nice. The elderflower is visible and harmonises nicely with the sweet-sourness of the apples. Probably a bit too sweet for my taste. The Aftertaste is long, nice mixture of the bloomy elderflowers and the tart and sour-sweet apples.

Refrigerated brown bomber, compliments of our new gaming friends Josh and Samantha, poured into white wine glass. Pours clear pale yellow with very small white head. Nice apple aroma, medium body, no carbonation, and very little lacing. Taste is pretty sweet apple, some oak, and some whiskey. Pretty enjoyable because the whiskey barrel does not over power, but not a favorite.

Bottled. Pale yellowish golden colour with no head. Aroma is mostly ginger, without that much else. Flavour is ginger and some sweet apples with mild soapy notes. Rather thin and watery palate.

16.9 ounce bottle from Taps, Summerville, SC. Pours a clear pale golden color with lots of visible carbonation but not much of a head. Weak legs. Aroma of very sweet candy-ish apples with some mild wood, vanilla and metallic notes. The taste is apples, wood, vanilla, mild whisky. Medium bodied. It’s a bit of a mess aroma wise, but it’s tasty.
