Cask at Gravity Station Cardiff, Jan 2016 from historic tasting notes. Pours black colour with almost no head. Aroma: roasted malts, also chocolate, vanilla & liquorice. Taste: moderate sweet & bitter, more roasted malts with chocolate, coffee, vanilla, coconut, dark fruits. Medium+ body with low carbonation. Tasty, could do with a touch more carbonation.

Cask at Hopbunker, Jan 2016 from historic tasting notes. Pours light hazed golden orange with a white head. Aroma: sulphur hints overpowering anything else. Also slightly sulphury on the taste. Vague citrus & hoppy notes but again overpowered. Medium body with low carbonation. Not as intended!

Can from RAD (I'm gonna say). Appearance - golden and bright with an almost snow white head. Nose - fresh sweat, geraniums, lime and grapefruit. Taste - grapefruit with an edge of pink grapefruit and orange. Palate - light bodied, though creamy texture. Dry, zesty finish. Overall - nice.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, licorice, plum and a hint of chili in the aroma. Thinnish. malty sweet flavor with molasses, plum and licorice. Chili notes are luckily well hidden, but just get a bit stronger in the aftertaste, especially as the beer warms up.

Keg @ The Abbey, Shrewsbury. Pours unclear dark, almost black, small tan topping. Roasty cocoa nose, continuing to taste with some coffee grain.. perhaps served a bit too cold, but flavours start to emerge as it slowly warms. Decent cocoa-tinged roasty stout.
