Cask. Sentinel, Sheffield. Deep gold. Soft haze. Tight, creamy, lasting, white head. Love me a sparkler. Nose is all fresh hop leaf. Pungent, raw green hop, with the lightest, dry grain background. Taste is punchy, raw hop bitterness. Gets a little dry. No sweetness to be found. Sits light and dry on the palate. Cleansing hop oil. Long bitter finish. A bit one dimensional really. But that’s probably the point?

Cask shared with Finn at Euston Tap East. Next to clear warm golden body. White layer, lacing rings down the glass. Modest aroma of herbal hops, citric hints. Mixed taste profile of ripe lemon, pineapple and a backdrop of malty sweetness. Mild malt-fruity end. Thin bodied. Easy going (London 26.04.2017).
