Cask at the Fox - London. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy off-white head. The aroma holds well toasted bread, some charcoal, cocoa, burnt grass. Medium sweet flavor with strong charcoal character, dry ashy roast, bittersweet baking cocoa, some oily pine, faint raisins. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Well balanced on the finish with sturdy roast, more baking cocoa, piney hops. Solid.

Keg at the Fox - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. The nose has a lot of grassy hops and minerals, some citrus rind. Light sweet flavor with an interesting fruitiness, some apricot, peach, tangerine rind, more minerals. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean and dry on the finish with notes of pale wood, grass, white grape. Nice.

Keg at the Fox - London. Pours unclear gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds grainy pale malts, ripe lemon. Light-medium sweet flavor with further pale grains, damp hay, rindy old lemons. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Some grassy bitterness on the finish, pale grainy bread, pine needles, more lemon rind and mouldy hay. Eh.

Medium sweet flavor with some gummy fruits, light berries, slight pine, bready pale malts, soft piney bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly earthy and rindy bitterness on the finish with further bready pale malts, pine, orange. Good stuff.

Keg at the Fox - London. Pours pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds some tropical fruits, light golden raisin and fusel alcohol, pale bread, mango. Medium sweet flavor with lovely tropical fruit character, some urine, light grass, melon, mango, dry pale malts, hay. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly drying on the finish with pithy citrus, mild resin, pee, pine needles, pale malts, lemon peel. Very nice.

Cask at the Fox - London. Pours clear amber-gold with a creamy white head. Grainy malts in the nose with notes of leaf, dried berries. Light sweet flavor with gritty bitter grain husk, more leaves, dirt, orange rind. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Abrasive grassy bitter finish with more leafy hope, earth, some grainy bread. So so.
