Cask at Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Yellow gold. Thick, lasting, white head. Big hoppy aroma, orange zest, pine, biscuity malt in the background. Taste is pine dry. Lots of zesty bitterness. Plenty of body. Dry, lemon finish.

Cask at the Euston Tap, 30/10/13. Mid black with a good sized light tan head. Nose is bitter hops, touch of plastic, light roast, hint of smoke, earthy, light tropical fructis. Taste carries a fairly aggressive dose of up front hop bitterness, light cocoa, touch of pine, bitter grapefruit, other tropicals in the background. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finale with a good dose of hop bitterness. Solid enough CDA if let down a little by the plasticy note I got off the nose.

On tap at Euston Tap, Friday 25th October 2013 Condition wise this is superb, couldn’t look better, sparkling gold with a tiny white rim of bubbles. Initially I detected a little cheese but after a little while the fruit floods through. In the mouth this is tangy sweet orange, clacky furry bitterness. In fact it is also showing a rather lemony touch. Quick dry finish, juicy, this is a really great beer. A7 A5 T8 P4 Ov15 4.0

Cask, handpump at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, nr Oxon (Peter Fowlers great pub) Wednesday 23rd October 2013 Golden in colour, good clarity, slim white film atop. Wonderful hoppy nose, really fresh in the mouth. This is a real favourite here amongst the punters I gather and I can see why, its just is fruity, juicy and hoppy but also well balanced, really moreish, bitter and drying also but just great the third very good beer from Gazza that I’ve had in a week. Cask @ Port Street Beer House, Manchester [171013]
Light yellow, clear, thin white head
Aroma of herbal hops, some grassy hop, big hoppy aroma, soft sweet fruit malt background
Taste - huge hops, bit too herbal, dry zesty grasyy hop, very light pale malt background, dry nettles, aggressive hopping here
Palate - Light body, bitter dry hop palate. Finish as main flavour, dry
Overall - Hopping is aggressive, only very light pale malts in background, not mad keen on the flavour of the hop profile
