Description
Established in 2010, Revolutions is a music-inspired micro brewery producing a range of cask ales of all styles from pale ales through to stouts and porters. Home to the multi award-winning Swoon Chocolate Fudge Milk Stout. The brewery also holds beer from other breweries from Yorkshire and further afield and currently sources beer for many beer festivals across the UK.

Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2018.. 6.0% a clear mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of dirty loose tan head. Aroma is woody raspberry ripple, brown sugars oily chocolates. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, vanilla, brown sugars, brown bread, raspberry. Cocoa. Fun.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Almost clear deep reddish brown beer, tidy tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Sweet dry thin dark malts, sweet cocoa. Littte tangy dark fruits. Dry finish. Punchy flavour but thin and dry mouthfeel.

Cask at GBBF 2018, Olympia, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Sweet, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes similar, sweet, malty, chocolate, fudge, a little thin but pleasant enough.

Cask at MS HW, 21/06/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is mellow berry fruits, orange peel, light floral tones, melon. Taste comprises light citric peel, strawberry creme, airy malts, peach, straw, light breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with moderate hop presence. Decent enough gold.

Cask @ Nightjar, Hebden Bridge. Deeper amber with a glow and a frothy head. Hoppy, there's caramels in both aroma and taste.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 15th June 2018. Hazy gold with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Tart citrus aroma. Citric and grassy Iin-mouth with a touch of smoke. Sweet malts in the background. A lingering grassy finish. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. A well crafted pale ale.

Tried at Smiths of Bourne. Just off black colour with a pale gtan head. Coffee and chocolate aroma sweet fudge taste, really drinkable.
