Old rating from 04-11-16 - A 500ml bottle. It pours a pale, straw-coloured beer with a smooth, white head. Aromas of pale malts, citrus & grass. Taste is pale malts, butter, citrus and a hint of yeast. Long, mildly bitter finish. Overall fairly good considering the low abv.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours almost black with a small beige head and good lacing. There’s malts and lactose in the aroma plus traces of caramel. In the mouth it is smooth, creamy and sweet but with a little underlying sharpness. Flavour has malts, lactose and chocolate to start with, with hints of dark fruits coming through later. A little bitterness in the finish. This is nice.
