Cask. The awful brown hole known as the Fat Cat. Clear brown (obviously). Tight off white head. Pretty standard bitter with no particular stand out characteristics. Drinks fine but extremely forgettable.

Deadication brew to Brian Clough, England footballer and more famously a manager who played for Sunderland, where I'm having this beer, was born on this day. Easy pale ale, slightly dry in my palate but all the brews I've had today seem that way so maybe it's me! Good tropical fruit nose, decent but lesser stated, more hoppy taste.
