Black pour topped with a big old lasting khaki head.
Nose is chocolate, spice, dried fruit rinds, rummy depths.
Taste comprises chocolate, fruit cake, rum barrel, toffee, raisins, spice, dark malts.
Medium bodied with bite, light prickly carbonation, drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Okay BA sipper but a little stuck in 3rd gear.

Clear golden blonde topped with a lasting white head.
Nose is mellow citric zest, grass, melon, tangerine.
Taste comprises melon, orange zest, light breads, airy malts.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light bite of hop bitterness.
Okay cask pale.

Clear golden to light copper topped with a lasting white cap with lacing to follow.
Nose is pale malts, biscuit, straw, grains.
Taste comprises bready notes, faint lemon, straw, grass.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.
Fine.

Cask at Ye Olde Elm Tree, Durham. Gluten Reduced. Golden bronze colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, citric, hop. Taste is malty, grain, alittle toffee, biscuity, with tangy citric bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying bitter finish. Quite drinkable

Cask at Tipsy Turtle, Stockton. Gluten Reduced. Black colour, beige foam head and aroma of roast malt, turkish delight. Taste is sweet, turkish delight, roasty, malty, with chocolate & coffee notes, and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying roasted bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

Cask at Darlington Snooker Club Beer Festival 2025. Gluten Reduced. Bronzey golden amber, thin white foam head and aroma of malt, hops. Taste is sweetish, malty, fruity, yeasty with some hop bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
