16oz pint at WF Fair Lakes pours a very murky, thick black with plenty of creamy beige head. Nose has a ton of chocolate and malt, wow, smells just like a milkshake. Flavor... same, boozy milk shake, chocolate malt balls. Creamy finish. One note, but very nice.

Copper with a tall head. Bready, booze, sweet malt, a bit earthy aroma. Full bodied. Flavor is like grains straight from the mash. It has some booze in the finish and very sweet overall. This is mostly a malt bomb with little complexity or interest. Not everything needs to be imperialized.

355 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.9%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate tan head. Strong aroma of cocoa and chocolate, hints of coffee. Soft mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour of chocolate and mild coffee, some bittering hops in the finish. Some sweetness, but not too much. Easy drinking and enjoyable. Yummi!
