Poured from nitro tap. Dark brown with full beige head. Lots of cocoa powder, milky, very feint burnt roast notes, not especially complex, okay.

Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour, small white head. Aroma is chocolaty, some alcohol, mild toffee, and some rather nutty tones. Flavour is chocolaty, some syrupy, mild toffee, nuts and some mild alcohol tones too.

ABV: 9.1%. Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, sweet malt, caramel, salty, syrup, caramelized syrup, burnt syrup, vanilla, light bread. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate - vanilla, caramel, caramelized syrup, malt bitter - burnt syrup bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20240105]

375ml bottle pours a dark gold with some white head. Sour lemon nose, mojo orange. Flavor is big woody barrel and sour fruits. A bit too big, honestly. Making this 6.5% would have been just fine.
