Can: Literally black with a medium sized off-white head, that slowly collapses, moderate bitter-sweet aroma of roasted malt and dried berries with caramelly and hoppy traces; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, creamy MF; lingering dryish bitter and toasty and fruity finish with a little tartness in the aftertaste. Well drinkable...

Very dark brown with a frothy beige head of modest duration. The aroma is also modest and resembles stale, roasted cereals with prunes on top. Taste is mildly bitter. Finishes dry and mostly empty with a touch of graininess. Body is medium, carbonation moderate to mild. Lacks any real character.

Bottle, 355 ml shared with Max, kajser27 and Miro B. Black with beige head. Nice decadent swiss chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, quite strong bourbon. Sweet. Medium bodied.

On tap at Flying Saucer, DFW. Black with small tan head. Chocolate, bit roasted, lactic, caramel, sweet, just a bit harsh in finish. Not that easy to drink. Full bodied.

355ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, shortly fading, tan head. Roasty and nutty, dark malty, slightly spicy aroma, notes of roasted and salted peanut, pistachio, a touch of maple sirup, coffee. Taste is roasty dark malty, slightly caramel malty, minimally nutty and spicy, hints of maple sirup, pistachio, salted caramel, subtle sweetness, a touch of coffee and dark chocolate; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice, balanced composition, relatively light - enjoyable.

12 oz can from Total Wine - San Antonio. Pours a hazy gold color with a small white head and good retention. Minor spots of lacing. As expected, light orange aroma. The taste follows the nose. Sturdy wheat ale base beer with a light orange finish with more wheat. Very subtle orange flavor. Medium body. Wheaty mouthfeel. No bitterness. Medium carbonation.

On tap at Flying Saucer Draught Emporium - DFW Airport, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is full of rich dark and milk chocolate, some lactose, and caramel. Flavour is sweet but robust, with lots of roasted malt, plenty of lactose, some caramel, and a smidgeon of hoppiness to back. It's definitely sweet, but somehow the roast reins the sweetness in. Not the most complex or elegant impie stout out there, but it's built very well. Great stuff.

Virtually black with a frothy, beige head. Aroma of a chocolate shake and licorice with roasted grains underneath. Taste is bittersweet with the bitterness taking over the finish. Medium to full-bodied, mild carbonation. Not much depth but no off-notes either. Not bad.
