Established in 2014 by best mates Adam Edinborough & Rhys Watkins in Rhys' then Garden Shed in west Cardiff. Crafty Devil Brewing are Cardiff's alternative to the corporate mass producing breweries. A truly independent and staunchly proud Cardiff Brewery Crafty Devil Brewing are now brewing in Ninian Park Road, Canton, Cardiff.

Producing exciting, quality and tasty beers in the styles which Adam & Rhys want to drink. Crafty Devil believe that beer should be drank fresh, as locally as possible and made by people who love beer!

440ml can from Wilderness Brewery who were also a part of this trans / gay collab initiative. Pours dark / black, good tan head. Really good balance of chocolate and dark malt, gentle malt sweetness. Really good stout.

Can from Vinomondo, Conwy. Aroma combines berries and light creamy coffee. Opaque cola brown. Foamy beige head. Initial sweet molasses streak. A brief sour Beery surge, before sweetness returns with added creamy coffee and malts. Medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Light easy drinking Stout.

Can. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, fruity notes. Taste: Hoppy, a bit resinous, subtle fruity notes of tangerine and some melon. Moderate sweet and over moderate going to medium bitterness at the finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Was hoping for a little more West Coast, but ok overall.

Can. Color: Very hazy pale orange, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, citrus and tropical fruit, melon. Taste: Orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, melon and hints of cocos. Very zesty. Bone-dry zesty bitter finish. Just over medium body, average carbonation. Moderate sweet, medium to over medium bitterness. Nice one.

Saturday 27th April 2024, the train home from Aberystwyth, 440ml can between three of us, obtained from Bottle & Barrel. Misty golden orange body, decent white head. Tropical fruit aroma and taste, slightly sweet.

Saturday 27th April 2024, the train home from Aberystwyth, 440ml can between three of us, obtained from Bottle & Barrel. Hazy lemon coloured body, white crust. Fruity hop front with a resinous/piney finish, soft yet fairly bitter.

Saturday 27th April 2024, keg half-pint in Bottle and Barrel during an outing to Aberystwyth. Cloudy amber body, off-white topping. Malty with a slight piney hop bite.

Draft at Bottle & Barrel, Aberystwyth. Poured almost black with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt, light chocolate, lactose. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, light dry ashtray, coffee, chocolate, sweet lactose, light liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draught keg at Fagins Craft Beer Hpuse and Art Cafe. Light, light gold, almost straw. Clear with a small ring of white head and generous lacing. Aroma of lemon balm, white grapefruit and light pineapple. Sweet taste, a big hit of citrus. Short finish. Carbonation on the heavy side. Likeable.
