On tap at Brody’s. Dark burgundy-brown pour with a smooth and velvety tan head. Notes of licorice, wood, smoke, chocolate, roasted coffee, molasses, dust, light mould. Quite nice, though it feels a bit old. Can’t really identify the rum barrel, but there is definitely some kind of barrel going on. --- Beer merged from original tick of Obsidian Imperial Porter - Rum Barrel on 12 Aug 2017 at 17:00 - Score: 8

Can @ Benzai is zo dood als een pier tasting. Nice dark red color, medium sized rocky off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, sweetish, a bit alcoholic. Taste malts, again a bit alcoholic, sweet, caramel. Hmm tough call. Overall decent I’d say, but it definitely lacks some hops imo.

Pours a clean golden-amber colour with creamy off-white, warm cap that lasts long with some great lace. Wild ale aromas for sure with earthy notes and loads of berries creating some sourness. The taste is actually very well-balanced. Mild, but all good with hints of pine, Juniper, wood, hops, caramel and not really sour. Seems like oak Foeder did its job. Quite nice all-around. Goes down smoothly and very interesting. Worth cellaring a few.

Draft at Brody’s, The Hague. Black with a thick tan head. Aroma of big fruity rum barrel upfront with oaky barrel notes, dark chocolate, coffee, roast, light licorice, raisins, nutty notes and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

A golden ipa with a thin creamy lacing white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with light resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light mandarine, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with treacle, cereal character, resinous hops, light mineral notes, nice. On tap at Redline.
