Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy amber with a generous beige head. Floral hops on the nose but not overpowering. Has a quick hit of bitterness that fades gradually with a good balance. The nuttiness from the rye balances the hops.

Always a sucker for a new pitch-black imperial porter I grabbed a bottle of this stuff. Has a nice red foil wrapping on the cap. Probably colder than it’s supposed to be, but nonetheless I poured it: coffee-black body with a modest bright brown head. Sweet coffee and barley aroma, some chocolate, very appealing. Flavour is strong imperial porter style like chewing on coffee beans or dark chocolate. Some sweetness but there isn’t much complexity in this brew as I had hoped. Still it’s a solid brew, very drinkable.

Bottle - Hoppy grapefruit and some spicy sweet malts. Clear copper thin white head. Light malts, spice followed by hoppy grapefruit and a quick hit of bitterness that disappears quickly. Nice and the rye stands out. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Poured a clear dark amber color ale with a relatively large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of spicy malt notes with citrusy and spicy hops profile. Taste is a great refreshing mix between some spicy rye notes with some citrusy and spicy hops profile which are close to IPA level. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Solid beer which is definitely better then the rest of Cameron’s standard offerings.

Bomber from the LCBO and rated as Canada’s No. 1 rye beer. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a big off-white, frothy cap that has great retention and loads of foamy lace. Fresh Cascade hop aroma with the citrus, like grapefruits. Kind of creamy with the nice head, but gets nicely dry in the finish because of the hop. Lots of citrus in the taste with some oranges, well-blended with the cereal malts and ending with the very bitter grapefruit zest. I can see why it is also in the top 10 list of rye beer (specialty grain) in the world. A very nice surprise, that gets more bitter and bitter with every sip (like pure grapefruit peel).

aroma has some sour plum, some bitter grapefruit. Not hugely sour for style - pretty palatable in that sense. Pours cloudy orange with little head but some lacing. Taste has light astringency. On tap at volos.
