Near clear dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Lightly smoky nose with a touch of peat. Pretty light and airy palate for the abv, decent fine carbonation. Soft mellow dark malts, a little soft dark malt cream and chocolate. Soft smoke. Ripe fruits. Some soft peat coming through on the back end. Airy finish leaves a pleasant creamy dark malt linger and finally shows a little abv muscle with some mild alcohol spice. Well rounded and drinkable.

Spicy, fruity aroma with plenty of hops that manages to intrigue, but does not appeal much to my tastebuds. There was something in the aftertaste that reminded me of urine... Maybe I should blame the waittress, because it was from tap. She did take a little detour to the toilets. Very bitter finish. I salute the effort, but it’s not for me

Tap at ZBF’12, Leuven: Very black brew with taste of roasted oatmeal malts whats gives the beer an full body.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy orange coloured brew with an nice dry bitter taste and hints of apple, biscuit and citrus fruits. Quite nice Christmas beer.
