Sampled from bottle @ Tim needs to get rid of his ticks tasting. Clear pale golden color, medium to full sized white head that lasts for quite a while. Smell and taste malts, a hint of fruit, yeast, with a soft bitter touch in the end. Average body and carbonation.  Drinkable but quite boring.

Tasted the entire current line-up of Loemelaer (9 beers currently) after each other. Almost black appearance, lightly tanned head. Nose is sweet syrup, herbal, chicory coffee. Taste is bitter chicory coffee, roast, syrup, liquorish. Thin boddied, caramel extract. Only okay to decent beer that is enjoyable but them but still compared to the average RIS this is very lousy.

Appearance is too light like all of their other beers, red-hued blackish dark brown, tanned head. Nose is weak, dust, cardboard, dull, lots of caramel extract. Taste like they added a bunch of caramel extract etc. to one of their other beers, bitter caramel extract, light roast, syrup, light soy sauce taste. Thin, extract & grainy-like. Ehhhhh……

Clear golden (pale & clear like their other beers, at least this one is lightly orange & not as horribly pale as quite a few of the others), it just looks wrong, little white head. Nose is weird chemical, fizzy, faintly medicinal hops. Taste is honey sweetness, fizzy, grass, hay, medicinal hops. Very fizzy & body feels thin & extract-like. Its okay or manageable I suppose.

Nose is esters, white sugar, soap & chemicals. Taste is soap, bitter coriander, lots of it, way too much coriander, bitter soap. Fizzy. Ehh…. Very hard to get excited here. Taste is fizzy yoghurt, chemicals, green vegetables, lettuce, oddly boozy. High carbonation. This didn’t feel right. I suppose it wasn’t just dull & extract tasting like the others, there is that.

Rouge amber (what is up with this brewery & their bafflingly coloured beers), even the appearance makes me think of caramel extracts. Light white head. Nose carries some artificial red fruits, minor but there (reminiscent of their Rosse beer), caramel extract, basic sweetness. Taste is lots of caramel extract, light red fruits & metallic, thin bodied, lightly bitter, basic sweetness. Tastes a bit like their “Blonde” with caramel extracts thrown in. Once again taste artificial to me, at least this one is somewhat enjoyable. You have that.

Pours ridiculously light & clear once again like the other, way too light colored & clear for the style, little white head. Nose is sugar, sweet chemicals & boring malt-like. Taste is fizzy lemon, white sugar sweet, chemical apple, light yeast (nothing Weize-like about it). Fizzy, very dull & boring. This may be a minor variation of their “Blonde” beer but on this planet this isn’t a Hefeweizen.

Nose is dull yeast, sweet sugar?... Taste is fizzy dull yeast that makes me think more of DE than BE, light chemical taste, vegetable, lemon,… Fizzy,… Boring & far too artificial tasting , makes me more think of extracts than actual malts etc. I didn’t care for it.

Clear dark brown to red brown beer, creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: roasted, caramel, sweet, some cocoa powder. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: soft roast, some coffee, sugary, caramel, some dried fruits, little bitter. Aftertaste: more bitterness, cocoa powder, still sugary as well, caramel.
