Copper colour with orange highlights and absolutely no head. Aroma of sugar, metal, malt and a very small amount of spices. Light to Medium-bodied; Watery taste with not much flavour. A bit of astringency towards the front end followed by faint malt and a low amount of spices near the end. Aftertaste is bland and uneventful. Overall, this one is...as everyone points out, simply not worth trying. A failure even for this style. I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York.

Nice light copper colour with a proper one centimetre thick off-white head. Mild malty aroma, nothing too superb. Medium-bodied; Creamy mouthful; Short malty taste showing a few other characteristics, but really...not much. Aftertaste has just about nothing, only a subtle maltiness. Overall, this is one of my least favourite Viennas, and it's not recommended by me! I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York.

Very hazy golden colour with a nice white head. Actually looks really nice. Smells of metal, yeast, a bit of hops and strong malt dominate the aroma. Light to Medium-bodied; Subtle flavours of the malt and a bit of hops showing. A very mild finish, just a bit more flavour than water! Overall, not an offensive beer in any sense, but just not enough flavour in the taste. The appearance is very nice though! I got this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York.

Barely light golden in colour, with a thin white head which fades fast. Smells like metal with a slight lemony taste. The taste is almost absolutely nothing. A bit of hops with a touch of malt. The description from the brewery is spot on...a clean, simple flavour. There is nothing to this. So clean, I can't taste a thing. I guess I don't like American Wheats, this one was a big waste. Just as bad, but maybe even worse than Anchor Summer. Not even worth trying, because there are no complexities to discriminate. I bought the 12 ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York.

Pale hazy golden straw color. Maybe a touch of white head. Initial taste is. . .bland. Though it wasnt bad tasting, just a regular wheat flavor, not very strong. I had to wait for the flavor to hit, which didnt hit hard. More like a light honey/malt flavor than a raspberry flavor in the body. As the beer finishes, the flavor again exits. It is an even flavored beer, not bad, just nothing distinct at all.

Pours a light brownish-orange with a thin off-white head. Very thin lacing. Light malt aroma. Thin to medium-bodied with a clean malt flavor. Smooth and a little watery though. The finish is a little spicy and malty. Overall not bad, it just felt like there could have been more to this.

This was an interesting beer that pretty much defied description to me. At different points in my glass I would have guessed it was a Brown Ale, a Dunkel, or an Altbier. Points for being different. Pours a dark brown but clear, with a medium thick light beige head. Quick lacing. Aroma of malt, coffee and chocolate. Medium bodied with flavors of coffee, nuts and malt, with a sweet malty aftertaste. A good session beer, and the best from Abita I have tried.

Pours a light and murky amber color with a medium off-white head. Decent lacing. Aroma is raspberries of course, but really nothing else. It might have something to do with the fact that I was building a deck in almost 90 degree temperatures, but I found this to be pretty easy to drink. Light bodied and very crisp, and fortunately the raspberry flavor is not as overwhelming as it is in other beers of this type. Clean finish. Nothing award-winning in my book but a passable summer beer.

Pours dark gold with a thin bone white head. Very little lacing. Aroma is appropriately wheaty. Light-bodied and somewhat crisp, and the wheat flavor is not very pronounced which made it more palatable for me since I do not like Wheats, but doesn't suit what the brewer should be aiming for. This is definitely leaning toward a Lager to me. Finish is light and crisp, and overall this beer is very simple.

Pours a clear light gold color with a thin white head. Somewhat bubbly with thin lacing. Aroma is light hops, just a tad floral. Light, crisp and refreshing with notes of hops and citrus, and even a little malt. Finish is a little hoppy and a little fruity, and fairly clean. I have had lots of worse Lagers than this to be sure.
