Mellow malty and slightly fruity aroma, hints of red berries, a touch of sweet cherry. Taste is mellow malty with a minimally bready touch, slightly fruity, slightly bitter, minimally grassy hoppy, hints of red berries, sweet cherry, minimally metallic overtones, minimally sugary, crystal malty basis. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively fruity, simple, easy drinkable - OK.

355ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orange, dark golden to amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally musty, citrusy fruity and caramel malty aroma, notes of old lemon peel, a touch of lemon pith. Taste is citrusy fruity and slightly zesty bitter, minimally fruit acidic, hints of lemon, lemon juice, lemon peel with a minimally soapy touch, diluted caramel malty basis with subtle residual sweetness. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Light body, quite watery, not overly (re-)fresh(-ing) - meh.

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is a raspberry Flintstone vitamin fruit. Flavor is some minor raspberry with a grainy malt mouthfeel. Ok for a fruit beer and a bit more alcohol then the usual fruit beer.

Large & in charge deep dark choco pour, thinner tannish head. From the bottle I get a somewhat chocolate nose. First taste is quite mild for a 8% brew, no lie! Yea, and the chocolate is there, quite prominent, not cloying, and not in yer face. No sense of volatile rudeness in this so far. Yes, actually has the taste of dark chocolate cake. I should have waited to taste this with the wifey, I think she'd love it, with the dark chocolate effects and all. Second big swig is the same, a pretty much balanced high alky pastry that is one of the better ones I've had. I don't ink much of cloying pastry beers but this is not too bad. Yea actually tastes quite like the label; you know, most of the the time with beers its like the cover of a book. Don't judge a book by its cover and don't judge a beer by its label. But I must say, this one is on target with the label and it actually does taste like dark chocolate cake. There, you have it.

I mean, it does kinda taste like Juicy Fruit, with bubblegum and banana dominating the palate while subtle notes of citrus and mango linger. Finishes like gum and mineral water. I’d be surprised if no artificial/“natural” flavoring was used in addition to the hops and malt. Not good, but accurately named.

Banana nose. Banana flavor. Medium bodied. Easy carbonation. Taste is like banana extract flavoring.

0.355 l can from 'Bierothek', best before September 2023. Almost clear, golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, minimally grassy aroma of gooseberry, pineapple, some grains and hints of cardboard. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity-floral taste of pineapple, gooseberry, mirabelle, some grains and traces and cardboard, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally grassy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid Lager, nicely fruity, but somewhat stale.
