12 Fl Oz bottle (as Mardi Gras Bock) on 2nd Mar 2019 while staying with my daughter in Orange County, California. Clear and clean amber body, thin and wispy white head. Cinder Toffee aroma, sweet malty molasses in the flavour with caramel notes to the fore. Bought in a Trader Joe's, cooled and drank after a huge Pizza; I am stuffed, but still enjoying this beer as I write this, it's like my dessert I suppose.

12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Oak Creek, 2/13/19. Hazy amber, large foamy white head, good retention. Arroma of orange creamsicle with some piney hops. Taste is candied orange, pine, citrus, a hint of tartness. Thin-medium bodied, mild lingering tartness and bitterness. A little odd, not terrible.

Sample at Arizona Strong Beer Festival 2019. Hazy golden/yellow with a small white head. Quite mild with hops, citrus, juice and light pine. The finish was medium bitter.

Bottle. Pours faintly cloudy dark orange with small foamy off-white head, grapefruit aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter grapefruit/piney taste, thin body, medium finish. Decent, not very remarkable.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a snifter. Aroma is bourbon, medium body, medium carbonation, and some pretty good lacing. Taste is nice bourbon and chocolate. Surprisingly good.

Very clear copper and bronze coloured body with a two to three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of brett and soured grain with a dose of light fruits, such as apples and pears, with a dose of sweetness near the end and some malt to couple with the funky nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong tart and very funky soured qualities at first that of course stem from the yeast, along with a bready and lightly sweet note and a good deal of malt in the back. Aftertaste shows the funky soured and tart flavours that don't seem to coalesce around any particular note or aspect, but just leave the palate wierd and almost like a throw-up (barf) flavour. Overall, a pretty poor attempt at a soured, wild or funky beer, with more odd and off-tastes than good ones. Neat to try, but that was about it - definitely worth passing over. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle in lieu of New Orleans being in the Super BowlLIII on 03-February-2019, purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop on 24-January-2019 for US$2,59 sampled at home in Washington.

Odd, sweeter than I expected, with a substantial grain sweetness backed by rather muted wine notes. Vanilla, corn, and wheat are far more prevalent than the Sauvignon Blanc; the grape only shows through on the back end, and even then its comes across more white grape juice than wine. Slack texture enhances the sugary side, while the pour lacks much head or lace. Eh.

Bottle. Pours a clear bronze copper with a tight beige head and great retention. Good lacing. Caramel aroma. Very sweet caramel malt flavor. I'm not getting any nutty flavor. Medium body with a short finish. More of a Vienna lager or Oktoberfest than a brown ale. No bitterness. Tasty.

So crackery it should be called a Ritz IPA. Toasted grain base gets your attention far more than any tropical-citrus or pine; add to it a grassy finish with low bitterness and apple-lemon undertones, and, well, Stratosbeer almost comes across as a newfangled hoppy lager than a Brut IPA. Not bad, but goes to show just how inconsistent this style has come to be among brewers.

Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso lievito e speziato. La finezza olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma non è molto persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. La limpidezza è velata e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è non invasivo e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il finale è bruschino. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sul tetto della bocca si fermano note di miele, agrumi, vino bianco, frutta e spezie.
