Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 24C: blonde / triple / 31A: spelt). Bottle 75 cl - Batch L3054 07:12 (BB 23/08/24). AROMA: medium sweet malt aroma, neutral, with medium-low citrus esters and medium-low to low peppery alcohol. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and cristal clear. medium ivory moussy head with good retention. lace retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium sweet maltiness, followed by medium-low esters (oranges) and low peppery alcohol. medium-high bitterness, balanced during tasting but evolving into a dry and bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium to medium-high carbonation. alcoholic warmth sensation without being overly hot. OVERALL: a biere de garde with a little more alcohol than the tradition (triple) but with nice fermentation notes and malt sweetness. seems a bit overly bitter.

Bottled 750ml. -from Leclerc Ljubljana, shared with hrabren. As 3 Monts Ambree. Unclear darker amber coloured, small to medium sized airy off-white head, caramel and whiff of dried fruits in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, light dried fruits and nutty with touch of alcohol in the finish.

0.75 l bottle shared with Ogi, thanks. Unclear amber, small off-white head. Caramel and red fruit aroma, some dried fruit. A touch of toast or spice. Good caramel and toasty balance. Medium body, some sweetness, some bitterness. Nice phenolic element. Soft carbonation, a bit dull in the finish.

750ml corked bottle. Pours a clear gold with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves thick curtains of lace. Mild aroma of slightly toasted pale malt, yeast, pear, floral hops and faint oak. Sweet flavour of bready pale malt, honey, lemon, pear, yeast, white wine, spicy hops and faint oak in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average to soft carbonation. Surprised at some of the low ratings. I found this to be tasty and slightly complex. ABV is well hidden, making it dangerously easy to drink.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter nice flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice.
