75cl bottle from E.Leclerc HIRSON, France. F: huge, tan, long lasting. C: deep amber, clear. A: malty, citrus, bready, caramel, some tropical fruits. T: medium malty base, bready, citrus, orange, long lasting bitterness, bit herbal, medium carbonation, pine, spicy, commercial yet ok for price :)

Sans être exceptionnelle cette Pale Ale se laisse tranquillement déguster sans de grosse fausse note. En verre nous sommes sur une robe ambrée avec une fine effervescence peu soutenue et une mousse blanche disparate. Le nez est sur une alliance de céréales, d'écorce d'orange et de caramel simple mais efficace. En bouche, le même sentiment de simplicité avec une amertume modérée mais agréable. L'attaque présente une très légère acidité fraiche avec des arômes légèrement citronnés. En deuxième bouche, si l'amertume n'est pas très prononcée, celle-ci est bien mise en avant pas une base peu dense et peu sucrée. Si l'arrière bouche est légèrement astringente, le final, d'une bonne longueur n'amène rien de nouveau. L'alcool, à 7 % est très correct et porte bien la bière. Globalement plaisant.

AROMA: medium-high fruity esters aroma with notes of candied pear, ripe oranges, slight clove and a medium-low peppery alcohol. medium-low sweet-malty background with a very faint toffee note. APPEARANCE: deep gold to light copper color and cristal clear. medium-large ivory head with good retention. lace formation. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low fruity esters (candied pear, ripe oranges), followed by a medium-low sweet-malty background (toffee to light caramel). medium-low hop bitterness with a dry and slightly bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body with medium-high carbonation. smooth alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a nice triple-like french biere de garde.

On tap at Beers N Paradise. Pours a clear gold with a white head that lasts throughout and laces slightly. Aroma has grass and light pine with earthy grains and some leaves backing. Flavor has grass and earthy grain with growing leaves and a hint of pine in the finish.

Can from Sitis shop, Reims. It didn't come across as a blonde to me, more of a bock. Very blunt abv, sweet and lagery. Highly carbonated.

Hazy blond colour, white foam. Sweet and fruity with hints of citrus but also a nice hoppy and dry finish. Very nice saison/bière de garde.
